Just yesterday Wacom announced its revolutionary digital sketch pen: Inkling. If you prefer traditional paper instead of tablets, Inkling should be a perfect solution for your drawing urge.
Wacom’s Inkling digital pen consist of hardware and software components, while the hardware includes a unique digital pen and a wireless receiver. And unlike previous digital pens only used on tablet, Inkling looks more like a traditional pen because it’s just used on traditional paper, but the ballpoint pen features Wacom pressure-sensing technology.
And the pressure variations will be detected by the wireless receiver and be shown in the digital version of your drawing. And you can also create layers for your draw. Of course, all the information will be recorded by the receiver clipped on the edge of the paper. When finishing your work, you can connect it with your computer for further editing in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and other applications. Inkling also comes with a compact case for store and recharge.
